Description
The bloodshed occurring in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and other places is not Jihad. Those who claim it is fail to grasp the true meaning of Jihad and merely restrict it to a physical struggle between opponents whereas the real struggle is within. Struggling against ones own inclination towards sin, our personal weaknesses, our hypercritical intentions and false piety. Focussing only on the least important part of the concept of Jihad is a foolish thing to do and then to attribute murder and terror to Jihad is truly misguided. May God guide us all. W'salaam ~ Peace

I just wanted to say that I think your work on Jihad is fantastic, very powerful and (although this is almost certainly not what you had in mind when creating them) has been very helpful to me for the research I was doing for a school project into Muslim beliefs about war. Thank you.
