Lies, propaganda and profanity
All a modern day insanity

Hip-hop, Glee and the X factor
Bombs, bullets, the nuclear reactor
Murder, politics, the arms contractor

The glowing boxes churning out shit
The blind masses eating every bit
Presidents and parliaments most unfit

With the ticking of the clock
And the rising of the stock
To the Middle East they flock

The soldiers of the west fighting
The natives of the land uninviting
Huh, yet they keep extraditing

The western capitalist rush for oil
Bringing along pain, death and turmoil
The more they take the more they spoil

Our undying desires for gold
The hearts remaining so cold
Always wanting more than they hold

The Earth she cries with pain and torment
Yet her tormentors, we won't relent
For all we seek is financial ascent

And its the forests we burn
And the Earth we dig and churn
Yet we still refuse to learn

Its the ambitions of men that stains the hills
The greed of nations that murders and kills
The blood of innocence the falls and spills

The racist experiment rushed ahead
While millions lay uncounted dead
Their blood and tears are still shed

The human project continues flawed
And civilisations progress is outlawed
Still the fighting and death continue abroad

Oh you hearts of Mankind
Playthings of the elite refined
The desires of men undermined

Mountains of wealth that reach the skies
Wars and deaths, the products of lies
Nations and empires that fall and rise

We march towards technological admiration
Yet a billion still live in starvation
Wealth and prosperity limited by location

Meaningless lives multiplied by millions
On and Earth whose inhabitants number in billions
Ruled by those who steal from civilians

Prayers and empty promises spill out uncontrolled
Hopeless lives and pointless futures rapidly unfold
The ideals of man are a misery to uphold

For all seek wealth, happiness and fame
In one world or another lies the aim
Our entire existence limited to a game
